Michael Duker was born and raised in the Albany area, where he began cutting hair in high school. He attended HVCC and received his Associate's Degree in Business Marketing. Then he became a Master Barber after graduating as head of his class.

 

Duke then spent the next few years honing his craft working in a variety of Urban barber shops, as well as teaching as the head barber instructor at an area beauty school for three years. His passion became a reality when he decided to open up his very own barber shop in early 2007.

 

Duke specializes in all facets of barbering, from traditional old-school haircuts to new-age styles. As some of you may know, he has an uncanny fashion sense. Duke has a passion for marketing and growing the DBS Brand. He's a devoted family man and loves spending time with his wife Stephanie, wonderful son Alex, and as always has his late English Bulldog, Maximus in his heart. Max is and will always be a part of the DBS brand and never forgotten.
